Our Story

Los Patios serves San Antonio-style Mexican food along with California favorites. The cooking of this South Texas city is a pleasing combination of Old Mexico and Texas cooking. It places a greater emphasis on flour tortillas than California-style cooking. San Antonio flour tortillas are thicker and richer than ordinary tortillas and are used to form a variety of lunch tacos.

San Antonio-style cooking enhances food dishes with flavorful sauces and savory seasonings. Our enchilada sauce, ranchero sauce, pinto beans, and carne guisada are powerful examples of this Tex- Mex cooking. The Tex-Mex flavors range from mild to piquant but are not incendiary like traditional Southwestern style. San Antonio-style is also known for a cowboy-inspired meat chile used to smother cheese enchiladas which we believe you will find irresistible.
